Today's update also contained over 150 administrative changes, most of which were technical adjustments and cleanups affecting conditions and commodity codes for works of art, furskins, and meat products.

Today’s tariff activity was defined by two distinct streams. The first and most significant was the implementation of new trade defence measures against Indonesian biofuels, delivering on the policy recalibration flagged last week and cementing the UK’s post-quarter-end pivot from administrative resets to new enforcement.
The second stream consisted of a high volume of administrative cleanup. Over 150 changes were loaded, the vast majority being the removal of legacy conditions and footnotes, alongside technical nomenclature adjustments. This activity was heavily concentrated in Chapters 97 (Works of art and antiques), 43 (Furskins), and 02 (Meat).

As anticipated in our recent weekly review, regulators have now finalised and implemented restructured anti-dumping duties on biofuels from Indonesia. The new measures, which took effect today, are:
- An 18% anti-dumping duty on imports of certain paraffinic gasoil blends of non-fossil origin (HS 3824999217).
- A 0% anti-dumping duty on imports of fatty-acid mono-alkyl esters, or FAMAE (HS 3826001000).
These measures replace previous duty structures and represent a significant recalibration of the UK’s trade remedy posture on these specific products.
Coming into force
Beyond the headline Indonesian duties, a total of 50 measures took effect today. The bulk of these were administrative changes, continuing the technical updates to Chapter 97 (Works of art, collectors’ pieces and antiques) that were also seen yesterday. Numerous commodity codes saw changes to their declarability status or descriptions in a broad-based nomenclature cleanup.
No future-dated measures were loaded in today's update.
