This page covers the Zolltor AI marketing website at zolltor.co.uk and the Zolltor Tariff Intelligence (ZTI) demonstration at zti.zolltor.co.uk. ZTI is currently offered in the United Kingdom only as a free, fictitious-data demonstration; it is not yet available with real user accounts (see “The ZTI Demo” and “Future Product Accounts” below).

Zolltor AI GmbH is a company incorporated in Germany and is not separately registered as a company in the United Kingdom. The full German statutory disclosure (Impressum) is available on our German site at zolltor.ai/de/impressum.html.
The services of Zolltor AI GmbH are offered exclusively to business customers. They are not directed at, intended for, or offered to consumers. Statutory consumer-protection rights that apply only to consumer contracts (for example under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 and the consumer provisions of the Consumer Rights Act 2015) therefore do not apply.
This policy explains how Zolltor AI GmbH handles personal data in connection with the zolltor.co.uk website and the ZTI demonstration. We process personal data in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. The ZTI demonstration is deliberately designed not to collect personal data or business data from you (see “The ZTI Demo” below).
The controller responsible for processing personal data via this website is:
Zolltor AI GmbHE-mail: info@zolltor.ai
As a company established outside the United Kingdom, we would be required under Article 27 of the UK GDPR to appoint a UK representative if we processed the personal data of individuals in the UK on more than an occasional basis. This website and the current ZTI demonstration are deliberately designed not to collect personal data from users — the demo uses pre-populated, fictitious account data and requires no sign-up with real personal details. The only personal data we process at this stage (optional launch-notification e-mail addresses, enquiry e-mails, and limited technical log data) is processed on an occasional basis. On that basis we have not appointed a UK representative at this stage.
We will appoint a UK representative, and update this notice with their contact details, before we introduce any feature that collects personal data or live business data from UK users, or before we offer real (including free pilot) ZTI or Trade Buzz accounts in the UK.
The ZTI demonstration at zti.zolltor.co.uk uses preview accounts that are pre-populated with fictitious names, e-mail addresses, and sample watchlist entries, for illustration only. The demo is designed so that you do not need to provide any personal data or business data to use it.
Please do not enter real personal data, confidential information, or live business data into the demo. If you would like to see how ZTI would work for your own products and trade lanes, contact us and we will arrange a guided walkthrough rather than asking you to load real data into the demo.
Launch-notification sign-up: if you submit your e-mail address to be notified when Zolltor AI launches real accounts in the UK, we process that e-mail address for that purpose only.
Technical log data: whether you visit zolltor.co.uk or the demo at zti.zolltor.co.uk, our hosting provider automatically records limited technical information (for example IP address, date and time of access, browser type and version, and operating system) to keep the service secure and stable. This technical log data is the only personal data processed in connection with the demo itself.
Enquiries: if you contact us by e-mail, we store your message and details only so far as needed to handle your enquiry.
The zolltor.co.uk website and the ZTI demo (zti.zolltor.co.uk) run on Google Cloud Platform. The website, the demo application, and any account data are hosted in the United Kingdom (region europe-west2, London).
To produce ZTI’s intelligence, two further types of processing take place within the European Economic Area (EEA):
All hosting and processing therefore takes place within the United Kingdom and the EEA. We do not transfer your data to the United States, and we do not transfer personal data to any country outside the UK and the EEA. Transfers of personal data between the UK and the EEA rely on the adequacy decisions in force, which permit the free flow of personal data without additional safeguards.
Our hosting and AI processing are provided by Google Cloud under Google’s data processing terms (the Cloud Data Processing Addendum), which incorporate the obligations required by Article 28 UK GDPR. Under those terms, data processed through Vertex AI is not used to train Google’s foundation models.
We use the following processors to operate the website and the ZTI demo:
| Processor | Purpose | Location of processing |
|---|---|---|
| Google Cloud (Google Cloud EMEA Ltd / Google Ireland Ltd) | Website and application hosting; storage of demo and account data | United Kingdom (London, europe-west2) |
| Google Cloud Vertex AI (Gemini) | AI generation of plain-language briefings from watchlist entries | EEA (Belgium, europe-west1) |
| Google Cloud | Hosting of trade-news and regulatory reference content | EEA (Frankfurt, europe-west3) |
When we introduce real user accounts, we will publish a complete and current list of processors and sub-processors as part of the updated product privacy notice referred to below.
We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, or for any period required by law. Launch-notification e-mail addresses are deleted once the notification has been sent, unless there is a further lawful basis to retain them. Technical log data is kept only for a short period for security purposes. Demo account data is fictitious and may be reset or deleted at any time.
Under the UK GDPR you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and to object to processing, as well as the right to withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the UK supervisory authority:
Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO)
ico.org.uk — current postal address and helpline details are published on the ICO website.
For any privacy question, or to exercise your rights, contact us at info@zolltor.ai.
This website is currently a marketing and information site, and ZTI is offered only as a no-charge, fictitious-data demonstration. Before ZTI or Trade Buzz become available with real user accounts in the UK — including any free pilot accounts that hold a customer’s own data — we will put in place, and present to you at sign-up:
The ZTI demonstration is provided free of charge, for evaluation and illustration only. It is a preview (“beta”) and is supplied “as is”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We may change, suspend, reset, or withdraw the demo, and delete demo data, at any time and without notice.
The demo is populated with fictitious data, and its outputs are illustrative only. They must not be relied upon for any customs, tariff, trade-compliance, or other business decision. Please do not enter real personal data, confidential information, or live business data into the demo.
The zolltor.co.uk website uses no cookies. Strictly necessary cookies for authentication and session management are used only within the password-protected demo and service areas (ZTI). We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies. Strictly necessary cookies are exempt from the consent requirement under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR).
The content of this website is provided for general information about Zolltor AI and its products. While we take reasonable care to keep it accurate and up to date, we give no warranty that it is complete or error-free.

These terms, the ZTI demo preview terms, and your use of this website are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. To the extent permitted by law, the place of jurisdiction for any disputes is Bremen, Germany. Separate product terms of service will govern paid subscriptions to ZTI and Trade Buzz when these services become available. Nothing in this notice affects any mandatory rights you have under the UK GDPR or the Data Protection Act 2018, including your right to complain to the ICO.
